How to Delete Roblox Account
There are a few ways and none of it gives immediate results. You have to understand that it is not in the gaming industry’s best interest to allow users to leave their platform.
They make it extremely easy to join the game or create an account using social media credentials. But they make it not so easy, and sometimes downright impossible, to delete accounts.

Be Inactive for 1-5 Years
Why 1-5 years? There are different users who have had different experience. Some say their account was deleted after one year while others say it was five years.Either way, if you let is stay idle for a long time, it will eventually get deleted.
Maybe it is too difficult for kids to be inactive for years and Roblox hopes they won’t have to delete accounts? Kids will give in to their desires and sign in once again or reactivate their Roblox account? It’s possible.
But, if the Roblox account remains inactive for up to 5 or more years, it will be auto-deleted from the server. This is done to clear the clutter and free up space among other resources for other or new players.
However, some users have claimed to view older inactive accounts too, so this is not set in stone and may take even longer. The least effective method to delete Roblox account.
Note that if you sign in even by mistake or because of temptation, your Roblox account will be reactivated and then the timer will reset. Now, you need to be inactive for the said period from scratch.

Send Email to Support
You can create a Roblox account without permission but deleting an account requires permission. How convenient?
You will need to send an email to the support staff (info@roblox.com) with details of your Roblox account that you want to be deleted. You will also need to verify your identity because otherwise, they won’t delete your Roblox account. It is done to protect genuine accounts from being deleted by competitors or other players.

Call Customer Support
If you don’t have time and want quick results, call their customer support number which is 888-858-BLOX (888-858-2569). State the details of your account clearly and request them to delete the Roblox account. Again, as in the case of email, they may ask for some verification id to make sure you are who you say you are.
Verification details include your full name, address, Roblox account name, email ID used to register, the phone number associated with your Roblox account, and some kind of id to prove your identity.
What Happens If I Uninstall Roblox Account
Uninstalling Roblox from Windows, macOS, Android, or iOS won’t delete your Roblox account. It will simply remove the app from your device and so you will no longer be able to play the game.
You can just as easily reinstall it and sign in to pick up things from where you left them last time. All the account details are saved in Microsoft’s servers in the cloud.

How to Restore Roblox Account
This is interesting. Let’s say you put in a request via email (appeals@roblox.com) or phone call (888-858-BLOX) to delete your Roblox account. The wish was fulfilled and the customer support staff confirms that the account was deleted. Cool. You cross-check and find that the login details no longer work and that your kid hates you.
But, the Roblox account is still saved in the cloud, on Microsoft’s servers. How do we know? There have been reports of users requesting the customer support staff to restore their Roblox account citing some error in judgment and guess what? Upon verification of ownership of the account, it was restored. It means while you no longer can access the Roblox account, as usual, it continues to live on Roblox or Microsoft servers.
Once again, you will need to contact the customer staff but chances are, your wish will be granted. You will be parent of the year again!
There is no guarantee however it is worth a try. Such instances are few and far in-between and gamers being able to get their deleted/banned accounts back are rare. I wouldn’t hold my breath.
Wrap Up: Delete Your Roblox Account
I wouldn’t suggest you going the ‘inactive account’ way. It takes way too much time, is extremely easy for the kids to restore the account, and doesn’t always works.
Contact the customer support staff via email or phone call and delete your Roblox account ASAP. Your kid may not like it but if they are spending more time playing Roblox than what truly matters in the long run, it’s the right thing to do.
