Levoit LVAC-120 Stick Vacuum
The Levoit LVAC-120 is a cordless stick vacuum cleaner, that comes with handy features and lightweight design. This is the Levoit’s first-ever product in the vacuum cleaner series, after two years of independent research. Well, the design must be familiar in many ways. However, we have some interesting stories to tell about its usability.
We have used the Levoit LVAC-120 cordless stick vacuum cleaner for over a few weeks and the review is based on our impressions. Check out more below.
Levoit Stick Vacuum Design
The Levoit LVAC-120 is apparently a typical cordless vacuum cleaner, at first glance. The design reminded me of the handheld string trimmer, which has a motor at the end to trim the mown.
Similarly, the cordless, battery-powered stick vacuum cleaner has a suction area at the bottom, and the handles are provided with enough rubber grip for safe usage. This lightweight device weighs only around 3 pounds and is easy to carry around.
One of the most interesting aspects of the design is that the resizeable sticks. You can have both the short and long versions of the vacuum cleaner just by replacing the connection pipe in between. The suction brush area has four LED lamps, which is way helpful in cleaning the dark areas of the room. The brush can be easily removed and cleaned in two simple steps. A washable vacuum dust bin is fixed at the top portion of the stick vacuum cleaner, which is also made in a way intended to remove and clean without any hassle.
Levoit provides a wide range of suction head replacements to use on different surfaces. You can clean your floor, carpets, car interior, furniture and more using them. Thus, you can use it as both your household vacuum cleaner as well as the suction cleaner for small areas including your car. There is also a complimentary wall mount charger to keep the vacuum cleaner away from children safely.
Levoit Handheld Vacuum Features & Controls
The Levoit LVAC-120 Stik Vacuum Cleaner is a simple-to-use handheld vacuum cleaner without much “smart” features embedded.
So, first of all, if you are looking for some “connected experience” like other IoT household items, this is not for you. To avoid the complexity of usage, Levoit made the device with quite simple controls and handling methods. Thus, you will not have to depend on the user manual all the time.
We found it way easier to remove and reinstall the dust in, suction roller and the handle whenever it is necessary. The dust bin lid can be opened and dump the dust by holding the vacuum cleaner upside down in a single click. If necessary, the internal filter that stores the excess dust can also be removed and reinstalled. Although, the storage is not enough sometimes if you are cleaning multiple rooms at a time.
The default duction head comes with a big roller installed within, having stability control to handle it easily. Carrying it around while operating was not making it any difficult, even while the rotor was at the peak performance. You can also replace the head with provided nozzles and brushes to use for various purposes. The small-tipped nozzle can turn it into a car vacuum cleaner, and will not let you miss any corner with dust. The brush tip can be used in two modes, which are way helpful in cleaning couches and carpets.
The handle is made with really helpful ergonomic, placed the button on the top portion. The two-speed switch is accessible using your thumb easily. The way-light on the roller head helps to find the dust particles, to be clear. However, other add-on nozzles and brushes do not come with a light installed. A 5-LED battery indicator is placed right beneath the power button. Comparing with the 3-LED battery charge indicators on most of its peers out there, this way convenient.

Performance, Cleaning
The conventional bulky vacuum cleaners are so powerful and can suck in a huge amount of dust at a go. When it comes to the handheld stick vacuum cleaners like Levoit LVAC-120, you may be thinking of its suction capability, is a battery-powered device. Well, it even amused us with its performance of the two-speed suction motors.
The low-speed mode is good enough for most of the purposes and gives you more battery life. If you are cleaning a messy carpet or trying to remove dust from under the table and shelves, the speed-mode can help definitely. You can even use the single brush nozzle to clean up almost every surface at an ease.
The vacuum cleaner is a bit louder when you compare it with robot vacuum cleaners. Though, it is not much irritating. The suction head easily captures the pet hair and other dust and did not seem to entangle in the rotor much. Long hair causes a little tangling in the brush, which in fact, can be removed manually.
The battery pack takes 5 hours of charging to boost up. In a single charge, you can clean up to 40 minutes without an interval at low-speed suction. If you are running it in the high-performance mode the battery can last up to 20 minutes. The wall-mount charger is provided with the retail box.
What is in the box
The Stick vacuum cleaner comes with a powerful 150W motor with 1.5PSI suction power. There are two cleaning nozzles in addition to the roller brush head. The power adapter is for charging the battery. The Levoit LVAC-120 model battery is not detachable.
The vacuum stick is long enough and you can use it to extend to the roof area. The roller brush head has 5 LEDs, very convenient for low light or no light area. You can attach the wall mount to conveniently store the handheld vacuum.
