When you are away from your family, you can still display your recent photos to your family members using Android Digital Frame. You have to create a shared folder for your family and set your tablet to display photos from this shared folder. Once you set this folder, you just need to upload your recent photos to Flickr, Dropbox (get a free Dropbox account) or Facebook anywhere from the world and these photos will display in your home Digital Photo Frame.
There are a couple of handy applications in Google Play store to help you out for this Digital Photo Frame to stream photos from Facebook, Flickr or Dropbox to Android for a picture frame.

When you display photos from online services like Flickr, Facebook or Dropbox your photos will always be up to date, and no need to use traditional SD cards to display photos.
I am using a FLIC button to capture photos on an old cell phone. I would lik eto use an old tablet to automatically display said photos….but can’t seem to figure how to get photos into a shareable folder that daydream recognizes automatically?!? Any ideas? It’s a project for my babies room. Just want to make take photo, see photos….dead simple.
Yes, you can easily achieve this with a free dropbox account or any other free cloud account. Dropbox has built in feature to auto upload pictures into dropbox folder. Use the dropbox folder on your old cell phone(to auto upload photos) and use the same dropbox account and folder on Android Tablet to display the photos through day dream. You can refer the same solution we suggested here for iPhone and Mac users, same steps for Android users.
