How to Find Apple Watch Backup Files and Delete

The Apple Watch backup to iPhone occasionally. It’s not very common to create the backup files from Apple Watch. However, Apple Watch will back up when you unpair or remove Apple Watch from iPhone. If you do periodically, the backup files will accumulate and consume the iPhone memory.

How to Delete Apple Watch Backup

  2. Tap on iPhone Storage.
  3. Now, tap on the search icon from the top right and type “Watch.”

  5. Swipe from “right to left” to delete the backup files.

You can delete all the files and clear Watch backup files by tapping on Remove All Backups. You can see all Apple Watch Backup files listed there. Each backup file will take a few hundred KBs, depends on your apps and data on Apple Watch.

What Data Apple Watch Backup Includes

Your Apple Watch backup files not included any financial information such as credit cards or passwords. Also, Apple watch will not backup the messages or passcodes for the Watch. Typically your Apple Watch will backup the following to iPhone;
