Do you suspect that somebody is reading your Gmail or sending emails from your GMail account? This post will describe the way to find if anybody is opening your GMail account. This will show you the list of login activities and history of last successful login activities.
You can figure out any unusual activity on your email account from this list of logged in IP address and login time.This is very useful if you suspect any hacking activity associated with your email address or if your friends are getting emails from your account without your knowledge.

Log in to your Gmail account and scroll all the way down to see the link shows the Last Account Activity Link. Click on Details to see more list of logged in activities of your Gmail.
This will open another windows to show you the most detailed list of login activities. This detail list will show you the browser used to open the email if the email opened from a computer. You can see the activated named as IAMP (iPhone Email), in this case, the email opened from the iPhone Email Client.
You may find a different IP address if you opened your GMail using iPhone client with 3G network. Except this IP address, all IP addresses that shows in this list should be the IP address that issued by your ISP Provider.
If you find any IP Address in this list not from your location or the time that you never used, then please change your password and the security questions immediately to stop further hacking activity. Please make sure that your password recovery email on the settings is pointing to the right email address that you set before.
