Apple announces two iPad models, including the iPad Pro model with an M2 chip. The 10th generation iPad is powered with an A14 Bionic Chip. The iPads redesigned with a bigger screen and USB-C port. In addition, there are some additional design changes, including the webcam position and retina display.
Apple’s new iPads weren’t announced at a large party; instead, Apple tweeted the news first, followed by a press release a few hours later.
Apple iPad 10th Gen.
The 10th Gen. iPad comes with a display size of 10.9″ iPad runs on the iPadOS 16. The iPad is powered by an A16 Bionic, 6-core CPU, 4-core Graphics, and 16-core Neural Engine. The iPad10th Gen. comes in 4 colors and 64GB& 256GB in size.
The design changes are the lightning port was replaced with a USB-C port. The webcam position moved to the long side of the iPad. Fortunately, unlike the US iPhone 14, the nano Sim tray comes with it instead of only the eSim concept. The iPad has two side speakers on the short side: landscape stereo speakers. There are dual microphones for calls and supporting video and audio recording.

iPad Pro (M2 Chip)
The same Apple M2 chip seen in Mac Book notebooks is now available in the new Apple iPad Pro (2022). There aren’t many additional visible improvements; the cameras and general design remain the same as last year. The new iPad Pro has two different screen sizes, 11″ and 12.9″.
However, the new iPadOS 16.1’s multi-screen and multitasking capabilities should be adequately supported by the M2 chip. The iPad Pro (2022) can perform new tasks and supports Apple Pencil 2. The M2 chip comes with 8-core CPU with 4 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores. There are two RAMs available based on the storage size. The 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage model comes with 8GB RAM, and the 1TB or 2TB storage comes with 16GB RAM.
The iPad Pro’s new M2 chip has an enhanced “media engine.” This implies that it will have a faster playback of more intricate, higher-resolution video and audio formats, such as Apple ProRes video recordings.
There are two rear cameras with Pro models. The wide camera offers 12MP, ƒ/1.8 aperture, and the ultra-wide has a 10MP, ƒ/2.4 aperture, and 125° field of view. The 11″ iPad has a 28.65Wh rechargeable battery, and the iPad Pro 12.9″ comes with a 40.88Wh rechargeable battery. These models offer up to 10 hours of surfing the web on WiFi or watching videos.
These iPads come with USB-C ports, a powerful camera, and additional storage sizes. Compared to the previous models, the new iPads are not changed much except for the screen and the charging ports. However, if you are investing in a new iPad for the first time, the iPad Pro is the best to consider.
