Start Recording on Instagram Reels

  1. Update your Instagram app to the latest version.
  2. Open the Instagram app on your smartphone.
  3. Swipe right from left to open the story camera from the home page.
  4. Tap on “Reels” from the bottom.
  5. Tap or Press & Hold the capture button to start recording.
  6. Release or tap the record button again to pause or resume recording.

  8. Tap the right arrow to finish recording.
