Report A Telegram Channel

Reporting a channel on Telegram is rather easy, fortunately. If you come across a Telegram channel that’s fake, spreads hate speech or harmful lies, you can report it by following the steps below.

  2. Select and open the channel that you want to report.
  3. Tap on the three-dot overflow menu button in the top-right corner.
  4. Select Report.
  5. Choose one of the reasons available.
  6. As soon as you do that, you’ll see a toast message confirming that the report has been sent.

How to Report Fake Telegram Groups

Reporting public telegram groups is just as easy and similar to reporting a telegram channel.

  2. Open the public group that you want to report.
  3. Tap on the three-dot overflow menu button in the top-right corner.
  4. Select Report.
  5. Select a reason or Other to type your own reason.
  6. A toast message will appear confirming that the report has been sent.
